Marco Lopez obtained the Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering at the Metropolitan Autonomous University and a M.Sc. degree at the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico. In 2004 he became foreign exchange student at The University of Electro-Communications of Tokyo, Japan. Since June 2010 he is an OLAB member.
Under the FP7-NMP SMASH project, simulation of optical and electronic properties of InGaN-based nanorod LEDs.
Under the FP7-ICT NEWLED project, simulation of optical and electronic properties of GaN-based LEDs.
Parallel optimization of iterative algorithms using MPI, CUDA and Open MP.
