Modelling and simulations (MINAS, SELEX-SI ,TRT, TED,CNRS, DTU)
This work package includes extensive simulation of the different sources , from which we deduce the characteristics of the electromagnetic structure and of the electron beam (voltage, current and shape). The simulation of the electron beam and the simulation of the electromagnetic structure will be followed by the simulation of interaction between the beam and the interaction structure . In fact a precise knowledge of beam and electromagnetic structure is required for the simulation of interaction. At the same time the simulation of the input and output coupling will be carried out. A comparison between computation and measurement results will be performed.
